A major mixed use scheme in Telford has moved closer to a reality as negotiations with the planners continue. The West Fifty Four development occupies a 52 acre site and will provide 550 houses, half a million sq ft of offices and a 4* hotel.
The scheme was unanimously supported by Telford and Wrekin Council when the plans were put before the board.
Full planning consent has already been granted for the provision of the infrastructure. The earthworks and main drainage has already been completed on site.
Negotiations regarding the content of the section 106 are underway and will lead to an outline planning consent for the remainder of the project.
An announcement is expected in the near future.
