Beautiful Restored Homes for Sale!

Tean Hall Mills offers a unique opportunity to own a stunning contemporary home in an historic environment that is, quite simply, unique.

The properties on offer at Tean Hall Mills include the Old Hall House, the former Tean Hall, an ancient black and white half timbered manor house, originally built in 1613. The other is The Old Hall, an elegant Georgian mansion, which has been converted into three beautiful apartments, with only two still available for sale, each with its own individual features and style.

Both historic properties are located in the village of Upper Tean, on the site of a two hundred year old textile mill, now converted into luxury living accommodation, and once belonged to the mill owners, John and Nathaniel Phillips.

The Old Hall House offers a spacious five bedroom family home, with authentic original features and modern fixtures and fittings, blending contemporary style and comfort with the character and charm of a period property.

The eighteenth century Old Hall, built in the reign of Queen Anne, includes three two-bedroom apartments, with original staircase, oak panelling and fireplaces throughout, and views across the Tean Valley. But only two of these remain available. Prices start from £145,000.

Beautiful Food at Beautifully Restored Homes!

Former Mill workers and home seekers alike sampled award winning food and viewed beautifully restored historic homes at the first in a series of open evenings at Tean Hall Mills.

Denstone Hall Farm Shop and Café provided exquisite locally sourced organic nibbles to those looking for an opportunity to invest in a ‘slice of history’ at a special open evening of Tean Hall Mills on April 15. The next open evening is April 29 and the final event takes place on May 13 from 5pm to 8pm, where an ‘Antiques Roadshow’ will take place.

The stunning homes have come onto the market following the restoration and conversion of two Grade II* listed landmark buildings of Staffordshire.

Visitors took the rare opportunity to view the luxury properties and sample the local produce which included, Denstone Hall award winning Pork and Brambly Apple Sausages, Goats cheese and walnut tartlets, award winning locally produced Huntsman’s Pie, similar to what would have been eaten in the original days of the Mill, regional cheese platter, home made Bakewell tarts and Scones with jam and cream.

Among the visitors were former Mill workers who said they were amazed at the transformation. One of the visitors said: “The restored properties are fantastic. The fact that it has gone from an historic mill to luxury homes really is quite amazing, they have done an excellent job!”
